Hmm, my first ever blog posting. No idea how it works or what's going to happen, but let's find out anyway.
I've created this blog so that friends, family and chocolate aficionados everywhere can follow my journey as Hotel Chocolat branches out on its international expansion programme. On Tuesday 12th January I'm off to Bahrain to work with our GCC franchise partners to set up Hotel Chocolat in Bahrain, Kuwait and Dubai. Looking forward to leaving behind this freezing winter and getting some of the 24 degrees in Manama.
The journey starts tonight though, as I will be collecting Ana, our GCC Brand Manager, from Heathrow, and bringing her into the HC team in the UK for some chocolate indoctrination. Snow permitting, of course.
